residential construction industry achieve their sales and marketing goals.

Since 1980, Jody has been instrumental in generating 6.5 billion dollars worth of new home sales. Her career has earned her an unparalleled reputation in New Home Sales and Marketing Management.

Jody began her career as an on-site sales representative for Ryan Homes (NVR), one of the nation’s largest homebuilders. She has since held various positions with Ryan Homes including Production Supervisor, Production Manager, Costing Analyst, Regional Sales Trainer, Division President and V.P. of Sales & Marketing.

Jody is a member of the NAHB and her local Sales and Marketing Council. She achieved her M.I.R.M. designation in 1992 and quickly became a certified lead instructor for IRM II (Marketing Budgets & Strategies) IRM III (Advertising Merchandising and Promotion) and IRM IV (New Home Sales Management.) She has instructed numerous CSP classes throughout the country and has spoken at industry conferences. Her programs have been selected for the past two years for the sales and marketing tract at the NAHB National Convention. Jody is a past Trustee of the National Sales and Marketing Council as well as the Institute of Residential Marketing. She holds a B.A. in Communications (SUNY at Brockport) and a M.A. in Education from the University of Maryland.

On a personal note, Jody is married to Eric Pilka, President of Oakmont Homes Design/Build. They are the proud parents of three daughters. The family enjoys traveling, skiing and building their own personal residences. The Pilkas are currently residing in Annapolis, Maryland.
